It has a face.

Two capsule eyes, no pupils, no mouth. Every expression is a pose that springs ease toward, so nothing ever snaps. Try them.

A macOS menu bar app that gives your AI eyes on your screen. Press ⌥Space anywhere, type or say a few words, and Gazey gets it done: simple actions on a free AI that runs on your Mac, bigger ones with Claude Code or Codex, which get a screenshot of what you're looking at. It can operate your apps for you.

Yes, free forever: no account, no subscription, no ads. Simple actions run on a free AI on your Mac and cost nothing. Bigger requests go to Claude Code or Codex, if you connect them, on your own plan with Anthropic or OpenAI. Control Center → Activity shows what each request used.

No. Setup installs a free AI that runs on your Mac (Qwen3 4B, through Ollama) in one click; it handles everyday actions privately, even offline. For anything bigger, connect Claude Code or Codex: setup installs them for you, no Terminal needed. Gemini CLI, Qwen Code, OpenClaw and OpenCode are coming soon.

Yes. Hold ⌥ in the box, or click the mic, and speak: Gazey starts acting while you're still talking. Your speech is turned into text on your Mac by Apple's built-in recognition; the audio is never recorded or sent anywhere.

Anything your AI and its connected apps can: add dates to Google Calendar, save a page to Notion, explain an error, reply to a message. It also uses your Mac for you: opens apps and websites, clicks menus, fills fields and types. Everyday commands like "new tab", "undo" or "volume up" run instantly, with no AI at all.

Only if you let it. Reads run on their own; anything that changes something, like a calendar event, a file or a shell command, can show Allow / Deny first. Choose Always ask, Ask if unsure, or Just do it, right in the box.

Only when you press the shortcut, never in the background, and only to the AI handling your request. What the local AI handles never leaves your Mac; requests that go to Claude Code or Codex include a screenshot, under their own terms. Gazey itself has no servers, no accounts and no analytics.

macOS 14 or later. It lives in your menu bar, not your Dock, and updates itself.
